Here’s an inspiring story if we ever heard one.
Columbus native Nicolle Bompart is the 45-year-old founder of Eyes Wide Open International, an organization focused on providing support to widows and orphans. She has been caring for 28 children at the organization’s Haiti orphanage after her husband was murdered there. It was the second time she had been widowed.
