The zero in 140 is being swapped for a 1 as we approach our 141st anniversary on July 1.
The father-son team of Bob Sherry and his son, Bobby III, of S&S Signs, are following in the footsteps of Bob’s father — decades ago, he swapped out numbers on the sign every year, too.
Dispatch videographer Doral Chenoweth interviewed the Sherrys while hanging out with them on the sign’s scaffolding. Keep an eye out for his video!
