Ohio’s animal laws remain perplexing…
Yesterday in Newark, Ohio: The owner of a bichon frise is called to Licking County’s first “dangerous dog” hearing after her dog nips a 12-year-old neighbor, causing no major injury.
Monday in Pataskala, Ohio: When trying to decide if a home is safe enough for twin 3-year-old girls to live there, a caseworker is bitten by a pet cougar and must go to the hospital. The Ohio Department of Agriculture says they have no legal authority over the issue, and local police say they’re scratching their heads over what to do.
