Worthington fifth-grader Matt Woodrum, the subject of this inspiring video that went viral this week, finished his field-day 400-meter dash despite his cerebral palsy.
His mom said she wasn’t surprised to see him finish the race.
“But when the kids came to join him, that was the real moment of inspiration that obviously made me and everybody cry,” she said. “Seeing him through to the end and cheering his name was just a priceless moment.”
