Our proximity to so much of the nation makes us great. But beyond that is the spirit of our city. When I first got here 30 years ago … people called us a cowtown and ‘Slowlumbus.’ It has become one of the most-vital and -vibrant cities in the U.S. Look at what we’ve done in German Village, in the Short North, at Easton, at Polaris. Are there still needs in the core part of the city? Certainly. But if you look at what we’ve done in the last 15 years, our potential is unlimited.
