Happy 200th Birthday, Columbus!
I love this city. There are so many awesome things about it, but I also love it for it’s potential. This is the perfect city for a planner and an urbanite. There is, not only, plenty of room for creativity, innovation and improvement, but it’s also supported by a big network of people (not just planners!) who are really and truly passionate about making this city great. THAT is really what makes this place so special.
I’m going to the 200th Birthday celebration tonight at COSI (our kid’s science museum and new-as-of-tonight home of the Columbus Historical Society) with a group of friends, and I’m excited. It’ll be cool to see all the other people out there who spend their valentine’s night at a birthday party for their city in a history museum! Those are my kind of people. And this is my kind of city!/sappyvalentineslettertomycity.
